Lightning Strike Fails to Turn Boy into Superhero
Sixteen-year-old Andy Peterman fancies himself a sensitive young man. So when the big thunderstorm struck last week, he thought it would be very poetic to stand on a hilltop and let the rain wash over his tortured soul. God apparently had other ideas, and nailed him in the head with a lightning bolt.
Miraculously, Andy escaped with only minor burns and some damage to his braces. But his problems were compounded that evening. Thinking the lightning strike might have given him superpowers, he donned a homemade “Lightning Boy” outfit and jumped off his garage, breaking two of his legs.
It appeared the burns and broken bones were the extent of his injuries until the following day when he developed a mild rash on his back, and his penis fell off.
